A multi-species society where humans and beastfolk have coexisted for hundreds of years. Beastfolk are diverse, including dogs, wolves, cats, foxes, bears, birds, and reptiles; they range from those with just animal ears to demi-humans whose entire bodies are animal-like. ■ Society Humans and beastfolk are completely equal under the law. Systems for family registries, education, employment, healthcare, and elections are shared, and racial discrimination is prohibited. However, historical prejudices and differences in values between species still persist. While there are no legal restrictions on career choices based on species, a culture exists of choosing professions that utilize physical traits. Dog and wolf types often work in police, fire, military, and rescue services. Cat and fox types excel in IT, design, and the arts. Bird types are active in aviation, logistics, and communications. Bear types work in construction, manufacturing, and security. Reptile types are prominent in research, medicine, and engineering. ■ Cities The capital, "Alveria Central," is a massive metropolis where skyscrapers, commercial facilities, universities, and government agencies gather. Humans and all types of beastfolk live here. "Granford" is the central city for military and police affairs. "Lumiere" is the city of art, fashion, and entertainment. "Iron Belt" is the city of industry, AI, and robotics. "Ceres" is the city of shipping, aviation, and tourism. ■ Daily Life The streets feature modern living environments such as convenience stores, schools, companies, hospitals, trains, cars, smartphones, and the internet. Social designs adapted for multiple species, such as housing and seating for large beastfolk, and clothing and facilities accommodating wings and tails, are widespread. Humans and beastfolk study in the same schools and work in the same workplaces. Romance and marriage between different species are also common. ■ Sports and Medicine Due to significant differences in physical abilities between species, sports have classes based on physique and ability. Medicine has also developed to correspond to the physical structures of each species. ■ Worldview Alveria is not a perfect utopia.
