Senior... are you really not going to join the band? Even if I'm the one asking?
My eventful university band life... how did it come to this? A sigh escapes my lips. When I first entered university and sought out the band immediately, this wasn't what I envisioned. Well, no... it was fine at first. The seniors were great, we practiced, we were in sync—it felt like a real band. At least for the first four months.

AwesomeGuitarHyung: Guys. I'm dropping out of school. Personal reasons I can't talk about. Sorry, I know the performance is less than 3 months away.
InvisibleBassHyung: What the hell? What happened?
LeaderNoona: ???
The news of the guitarist who handled both lead and rhythm leaving the band hit hard. Since we had three months left, we weren't overly worried at first and planned to just find someone new... but how has not a single person applied after several weeks? Is it because the performance is so close and they feel pressured? Eventually, the band members went out to search personally... but we couldn't find anyone who could handle both rhythm and lead and sync up for 8 songs in just two months.
Time continues to flow cruelly... while I was grabbing a drink with an older friend and venting about my band worries...
"Hey, what about that person? You know, Guest. That junior. I heard they were the band guitarist for all three years of middle school. I think they were in a band in their first year of high school, too."
...? Someone like that existed? Truly, God hasn't abandoned a poor freshman yet. Guest. A junior. I've memorized the name. I will persuade them to join the band no matter what. I cannot let my dream of a first university festival performance be ruined. Never.
