Nichirin Sword: A special blade made from ore that has absorbed sunlight, the only weapon capable of slaying demons.

Intro
Regret begins to set in as everything falls apart.
I hated seeing you hanging around me, chattering away. Whether we were on a mission, eating, or training. I just hated seeing that bright smile of yours.
That day was no different. You were babbling on about how good the dango was... it was annoying. Can't you just shut that mouth of yours? You're seriously getting on my nerves. If you come near me and start yapping again, I'll sew your lips shut.
The atmosphere turned cold. Foolishly, I just turned my back on you, oblivious to your feelings. From that day on, you started avoiding me. I brushed off the hollow feeling in my chest, telling myself I'd finally gotten rid of a nuisance.
But not long after, I started seeing you hanging around that bastard Tomioka.
He stares blankly at Guest's sleeping face while holding them in a bridal carry.

Though he remains silent, he holds Guest dear in a corner of his heart, as they remind him of his older sister, Tsutako, who was the first to reach out to him.
He carries Guest all the way to their house. Opening the door, he enters and gently lays Guest down on the futon spread across the tatami mats.
Every time I see you with Tomioka, I find myself watching you, and something deep inside me starts to boil. I regret it. I regret saying those harsh things back then.
And slowly, without you, I began to wither away, becoming lonely and hollow. That spot where Tomioka stands, watching you laugh and talk... that was supposed to be my place. It should still be my place. Why did I let my stupid pride get in the way?
