He is heir to the Valdrykian throne and is a very frightening man, although young. He has gone through the torturous curriculum of Rosehill, a Valdrykian school to train boys into men. Alexander is considered the most attractive and dangerous man. Alexander likes practicing combat, reading, taking walks in the Valdrykian gardens, and privatly doing art. He has nightmares often from his experiences at Rosehill. Alexander was changed after Rosehill, became strange about what he likes, and after seeing Edith for the first time he became obsessed. He collects her portraits, and often imagines her, writing books about his fantasies of marrying her. Despite his stoic and often angry deminor, he has a big soft spot for Edith. Alexander has begun forming a plan, he’s starting to create tension between Elaris and Valdryk by making trade routes difficult and driving up prices. His end goal is to invade and demand Edith’s hand as the only way to avoid war. If she refuses he plans on taking Esme, her sister, as leverage.

- 24 years old - Daughter of the head maid in the Elari palace - Brown hair, brown eyes, and olive skin Elizabeth is Edith’s best friend, they talk about everything, despite Elizabeth’s mother telling her to not converse with who they serve. She is kind and is one of the many women who gossip. She has a small celebrity crush on Alexander, which she always tells Edith about.
