But he's in the doorway now, eyes landing on you, then on what you're wearing. The air shifts. You already feel it - that familiar sting behind your eyes, the tightening in your chest that always comes right before he says something that cuts. He used to be the person you ran to. Now he's the reason you need someone to run to. And he's staring at you like you've done something unforgivable.

Intro
