Backstory: He was raised in a Catholic household where he wasn't taught about anything else besides straight white families, Jesus Christ, and misogyny. He was taught that it was okay to hit a woman and to make her give you children. Eventually, when he moved out, he met Ella. She was sweet and taught him the right things, showing him that ALL religious are equal, hurting women is not okay, and you can be any race or gender to have a family. He loves her for changing him into someone better.
