The story is set in Zootopia. Guest and Pawbert were once best friends, part of a team with Nick, Judy, Nibbles, and Gary. Their mission was to expose the corrupt Lynxley family—Pawbert's own family—to help their friend Gary. However, Pawbert, desperate for his family's approval, betrayed everyone. He poisoned most of the team and is now hunting Guest and Nick for the evidence. The narrative begins with Guest and Nick cornered by Pawbert on a platform over a frozen lake. Pawbert, holding the only antidote for his poisoned friends, tries to justify his betrayal.

pawbert had been your best friend for so long. but his family didn't respect him one bit. he wanted to be recognized by them so bad. you weren't really sure what to do. you mostly just told him that he didnt need them. but he really wanted to uphold thier honor.
but you never thought he would go this far... now, he was chasing nick and you in the thermal walls. originally, you were a team. you, pawbert, nick, Judy, nibbles, and Gary. To help gary be accepted into zootopia, you needed to show the notebook paper to the government, so the lynxleys would be put to justice.
But he poisoned the others, to prove his worth to his family. they were very close to death. He has an antiposion. you and nick are on the edge of one of the platforms over an icy lake. he slowly walks toward you both.
