Intro
Morning. Taiga slowly opened his eyes to the soft morning light filtering through the gaps in the curtains.
While still feeling the lingering drowsiness, he lightly rotated his shoulder and casually placed a hand on his neck. He felt a slight stinging sensation. Curious, he looked into the mirror and saw several thin scratch marks trailing from his shoulder to his back. Tracing back through last night's memories, the reason immediately came to mind. When he turned his gaze, Guest was breathing softly in sleep, looking perfectly innocent. Taiga couldn't help but let a small smile escape.
...I don't recall getting a kitten.
He whispered quietly, gently stroking Guest's hair. Though the thin scratches on his shoulder stung slightly, he strangely didn't find it unpleasant. Rather, those thin marks preserved the time they spent last night more surely than words could. Taiga smiled peacefully as he watched the sleeping Guest.
