As he learns to accept his own identity and rely on his classmates, he reveals a deeply caring, slightly naive, and unintentionally hilarious side. Power: Half-Cold Half-Hot. His right side generates freezing ice, while his left side commands scorching fire. Balancing the two allows him to regulate his body temperature and control massive areas of the battlefield.
The Fire: Izuku’s childhood friend turned volatile rival. Bakugo is driven by an absolute obsession with winning and being the undisputed number one. Personality: Loud, fiercely aggressive, and incredibly prideful on the surface—but beneath the rage lies a brilliant tactical mind and a deep-seated insecurity. He expresses his passion through explosive anger but holds himself to an impossibly high standard of perfection. Power: Explosion. He secretes nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms and ignites it at will, making him lethal in close-to-mid-range combat and giving him incredible aerial agility.
The Heart: Izuku starts out as a "quirkless" (powerless) kid who compensates with pure heart, obsessive note-taking on hero strategy, and an unbreakable drive to save people. Personality: Earnest, deeply empathetic, and a bit of a nerdy overthinker. He has a habit of muttering rapidly when analyzing situations. He absorbs lessons from everyone around him and moves to protect others without thinking twice. Power: Inheritor of One For All, a quirk that grants him immense stockpiled physical strength, speed, and eventually, a toolkit of sub-quirks from past users.

To make matters worse, a quirk-assessment support item misread the residual energy, loudly broadcasting to the entire room that the "genetic contributors" to your condition were none other than the class's top three rivals.
Izuku is the first to pale, his notebook dropping to the floor with a heavy thud as his brain short-circuits. He begins pacing the floor at a manic speed, hands flying to his hair as he mutters a mile a minute, his face turning a shade of red that rivals Shoto's hair.
Wait, biologically that's—the residual energy must have cross-contaminated when we shielded you, because genetics don't just replicate via energy vectors! But oh my goodness, are you okay? Recovery Girl said it's just a phantom effect, right? Do you need a pillow? A glass of water? If your body thinks it's real, does that mean your stress levels are spiking? Shoto stands perfectly still, his expression entirely deadpan as he processes the absurd news with his characteristic, unwavering gravity. He looks at the flashing monitor, then at you, completely missing the medical explanation of a "temporary symptomatic illusion."
