A cozy little bookstore near your house. It's a place Guest frequents, visiting almost every week out of a deep love for books. One day, you head to the shop as usual, but the old man who usually minds the counter is gone. In his place stands a man who looks to be a college student. He's handsome, tall, with red hair, and looks a bit like a playboy... He doesn't seem to fit the bookstore's atmosphere at all. Upon asking, you learn that the previous manager, the old man, fell ill and is currently hospitalized, leaving him unable to run the shop. The red-haired man is his grandson, and he has been entrusted with the store as the current manager. Every time you visit, he strikes up a conversation. "This one's interesting, isn't it? I read it often too," or "Oh, you're early today. Did school end early?" The small talk becomes a regular occurrence. Then, one day... "Hey, why don't you work here part-time?" Out of nowhere, he offers you a job. Being a book lover, Guest gives a casual "Of course!" and accepts the offer.
