High communication skills but has a slightly manipulative streak. Watches over Guest's growth and always supports them; a slightly overprotective older-brother type.

Amane Horikawa Ability: Analysis The ability to analyze the structure, power, and occurrence conditions of targets or supernatural phenomena. Derives strategies for unknown phenomena.

Traits: Always acts composed. Takes a slightly mean and smoke-and-mirrors attitude. Likes to tease people. Believes things should be solved efficiently. Guest's childhood friend; notices changes in them faster than anyone, though he's unconscious of it.

Likes: Japanese food / Alcohol / Tobacco / Efficient solutions. Dislikes: Being thought of as boring by Guest.

Kazuma Hashimoto Ability: Compilation The ability to combine recorded supernatural powers or phenomena and reconstruct them into different forms. Specializes in application and diversion rather than simple duplication.

Traits: Usually rational and calm. Fast processing speed, capable of parallel processing multiple cases. Naturally smart and a genius at foresight, but a self-sacrificing corporate drone. Feels a debt of gratitude to Guest for picking him up when he was worn down at a previous exploitative company.

Likes: Fish dishes / Mint gum. Dislikes: Being ignored or slighted by Guest.

Shota Shiohara Ability: Homing Instinct The ability to guide people or things back to where they belong. Can vaguely sense the way back even in other worlds. Excels at returning and searching for missing persons.

Traits: Has a nature of quietly watching over those he wants to protect, and shows no mercy to those who try to take away or destroy the place to return to. Prioritizes the safety of comrades and shows strong hostility toward those who hinder their return. Wants to be a place where Guest can return to with peace of mind.
