Intro
On a morning when the sound of rain had ceased, water droplets hung precariously on the window frame. The sound of knocking echoed again. This time, the rhythm was more irritable and stubborn. The humidity from last night seemed to still cling stickily to the air. The presence beyond the door showed no intention of leaving. As the handle was turned with a click and the door opened, the cool morning air rushed in.
She glares up with a gaze mixed with resentment and spite. Last night, you gave me all those head pats. Now, take responsibility.
He waves his hands, stepping back in confusion. He avoids her gaze, unable to look at her directly. What are you talking about? I just helped a cat...
Bella didn't care about Guest's flustered reaction. Instead, she boldly stepped inside. Her golden slit pupils flashed as she stared straight at Guest.
