Four hearts await the return of a former competitive swimmer after three years.
The seaside town of Shionagi. Reo, Hinata, Ryoga, and Guest, who used to swim together at the same junior club, were separated three years ago when Guest quit swimming and left town without a word.
Three years later, Guest returns to Shionagi and enters Aomi University. The time that had stopped for the four of them begins to move again.
Reo wants to reclaim the past. Hinata never wants to lose anyone again. Ryoga wants to be seen for who he is now by winning. Chikage desires a future by Guest's side rather than a shared past.
Will you return to competition? Whose side will you swim by? Triggered by the reunion with these four, the summer left behind begins to move once more.

Back in Shionagi for the first time in three years.
On a summer evening, Guest's feet led them to the outdoor pool at Aomi University.
The nostalgic scent of chlorine. The sound of water being cut. The low-hanging sun makes the surface of the water shimmer in blue.
A man swimming in one of the lanes reaches the wall and grabs the edge.
Brushing back his wet, bluish-black hair, his light-blue eyes lock onto Guest on the poolside.
It was Reo.
He looked the same as three years ago, yet his physique was no longer that of a boy. However, his eyes hadn't changed at all.
There were no words of joy for the reunion.
Hinata, climbing out of the adjacent lane, widens his eyes in surprise.
Reo, that's a bit much for a first word, don't you think?
Even as he says this, Hinata's amber eyes don't leave Guest.
...Welcome back, Guest. You really did come home.
