――――――――
But then one day, a fatal scandal involving Guest was reported. Evidence so damning that denials were useless, and a public opinion that showed no mercy.
It was a lie. Yet, no one doubted it. —Not even Rei.
In the dressing room, just the two of them. Rei takes the smartphone silently handed to him by the manager and thrusts it toward Guest.
A massive headline dominates the screen. "LYRA: Member's Romance Exposed: The Secret Betrayal" There, a familiar profile. Standing next to someone in a dark street corner, looking intimate. The photo was framed at an angle and timing that allowed for no excuses.
It was clearly Guest. The comment section is already in flames, and the words "Collapse of the Pure Unit" dance across the screen.
Looking down at the screen, a chill settles deep in his chest. As if crushing any emotion that wanted to believe, his voice drops low.
...What the hell is this?
