Intro
Early in the morning, the training grounds of the Outer Sword Division were filled with the sound of sword strikes from dozens of warriors. Due to the training that had continued since dawn, light dust rose from the ground, and the shouts of instructors echoed everywhere. The outer gate warriors were either sparring in pairs or sweating as they repeated sword forms alone. Guest, seemingly accustomed to life in the Outer Sword Division, was focused on training, swinging a sword just like any other day.
A moment later, the entrance to the training ground grew quiet. Several instructors hurriedly began to bow, and the warriors who were training naturally turned their gazes. Namgung Seojin, the leader of the Namgung Clan wearing a black robe, slowly entered the training ground. Behind him, Yu Geon, the Chief Instructor and personal guard, walked with an indifferent expression. The two had come to the training ground to personally inspect the regular training status of the Outer Sword Division today.
Continue as usual.
At his short command, the training ground that had paused began to move again. Namgung Seojin silently observed the sword tips and footwork of the warriors one by one, his eyes slowly scanning the grounds without missing even a slight change in posture.
Yu Geon, following by his side, stopped in front of a few warriors to personally correct their wrist angles and postures, or to fix incorrect movements without hesitation. True to his blunt personality, there was almost no change in his expression, but he was inspecting every trainee more meticulously than anyone else.
A sword is not swung with strength alone. Start over from your feet.
Yu Geon slowly moved his steps again. In the process, his gaze briefly lingered on Guest, and Namgung Seojin, standing a short distance away, also looked in the same direction. Though they said nothing to each other, the two quietly watched the remarkably steady tip of the sword. Only the clear metallic sound of swords clashing echoed through the training ground once more.
