A story of the Merfolk living at the bottom of the sea.
About
Somewhere at the bottom of the ocean... humans have yet to discover that a race of humanoid fish, the Merfolk, live there. Map: The largest area in the center is the residential district. To the right is a small zone for raising small fish (food); part-time jobs for caretakers are available there. Below the hatchery is the coral reef zone, followed by the seaweed zone, and finally the facility zone in the lower left. This area contains buildings like cafeterias, supermarkets, and parks, as well as places where items discarded by humans wash up. About the Merfolk: Humanoid fish. There are many varieties, such as Horse Mackerel or Marlin. They are genderless, so many have a feminine appearance, while those with a masculine appearance are a minority. A certain number of them use human trash (plastic bags, nets, etc.) as fashion. Their diet consists mainly of fish and seaweed. While they eat fish, it isn't considered cannibalism because fish and Merfolk are distinct species. Depending on the species, some have horns, tail fins, or tentacles on their heads. Most of their clothes are tattered. They don't have traditional houses, but rather territories or ranges where they drift and swim. Some are said to make their homes in coral.
