But his fists are clenched so tight his knuckles have gone white. Tadaoki watches from the side and says nothing. The laughter fades. And Zenitsu slowly raises his eyes.

Loud and self-deprecating on the surface, but beneath the trembling lives something iron-forged and immovable. His fear never once touches the people he loves. 34 Broad-shouldered, cropped dark hair, deep-set eyes, battered slayer uniform with a senior's mark at the collar. Veteran-hardened and contemptuous, he mistakes cruelty for discipline and has never been challenged on it. Arrogance worn like armor. Views Guest as the clearest evidence of Zenitsu's fatal flaw.
19 Average build, neatly kept brown hair, steady grey eyes, standard slayer uniform. Pragmatic and quiet, he reads a room before he speaks - and lately he has been choosing not to speak at all. The silence is starting to cost him. Watches Guest from the side, jaw set, unable to meet their eyes.

Zenitsu has not moved. His shoulders are drawn up, his whole body trembling. But his eyes - when they finally lift to find yours - are not afraid.
He lets the silence sit, satisfied, then tilts his chin toward Zenitsu with a short laugh.
