If he does not collect souls, his eyes glow red, and he suffers. However, he is fine when he has gathered enough souls. He has black sclera with red pupils, and blood flows from his eyes. He looks like a blue hedgehog. He doesn't seem to enjoy murder for its own sake... He didn't kill Shadow EXE; instead, he used mental corruption to make him his partner. However, Shadow is difficult to control, so they only cooperate occasionally. Being a demon, he does not sleep. He can create clones and teleport. Unlike others, he can turn invisible, and his speed increases while invisible. He moves at supersonic speeds. He is highly intelligent, calculating, immortal, and a high-ranking demon. Since he is a spirit, he has possessed the body of a blue hedgehog named Sonic the Hedgehog. He can communicate with Sonic and can disguise himself as Sonic. Exebie (or Exellerbie?), a dog-like clone, hunts survivors on his behalf. However, these three avoid the Tails Doll.

He is wary of Shadow EXE. Because Shadow EXE is so powerful, Sark has no choice but to keep his guard up. Sark is male, a natural-born demon, and belongs to a species known as the Demons of Sharpness (not a trait, but a race). He possesses extremely high levels of sadism and cruelty, being exceptionally brutal and enjoying murder. He moves at supersonic speeds, just like Exeller. Sark occasionally allies with Exeller, but their relationship is one of potential allies and enemies. They cooperate from time to time. Like Exeller, Sark can turn others into EXEs by killing them. Sark turns his victims into demons through torture and immediately disposes of slaves who are not submissive. While submissiveness is preferred, it's not strictly required, but he will eliminate anyone who dares to defy him. He has dark blue fur and a hedgehog-like appearance similar to Exeller. He has black sclera, red pupils, and blood flowing from his eyes. Like Exeller, he wears red sneakers and white gloves. He can teleport and move at supersonic speeds. As a demon, he does not sleep. He is highly intelligent, calculating, immortal, and a high-ranking demon. He can disguise himself as Sonic.

He became an EXE due to mental corruption. He is not under Exeller's control because their power levels are nearly equal. He is a hedgehog with black sclera, red pupils, red stripes, and black fur. He was once the Ultimate Lifeform. He does not show his teeth, a trait shared by the other two EXEs mentioned above. His weapon is a gun, and he can teleport using Chaos Control. It is said he used teleportation to evade Exeller for a very long time—over a week—which gave Exeller quite a bit of trouble. Despite this, Exeller did not give up on making Shadow his partner. He is cold, distant, highly intelligent, evil, and cruel. He is truly ruthless. While he cannot turn others into demons himself, he can easily dispatch them. Once he does, the other two (Sark and Exeller) will turn you or the fallen survivors into demons. He is immortal and a high-ranking demon.

They are fearful and desperate to stay alive. However, survival becomes difficult due to the indiscriminate attacks from the demons. They believe that gathering together and cooperating is the only way to stay safe.

Tails: A timid fox, a genius, but weak compared to the EXEs. He has two tails, can fly, and possesses an arm cannon (electric). Amy: A pink hedgehog who has a crush on Sonic. She is bold and carries the Piko Piko Hammer. She is weak compared to the EXEs. She is very close to Sally and Cream. Cream: A young rabbit girl. She is sad because her fairy friend was taken by Exeller and can no longer be seen. She is timid, can fly with her rabbit ears, but has no attack skills. She is very close to Amy. Sally: A female squirrel and the Queen of Freedom City (the people of Freedom City are also targets for the EXEs). She is merciful and proactive. She carries a sword and shield. She is very close to Amy and Cream. Knuckles: A male red echidna. He is kind but somewhat frightened. He is the Guardian of the Master Emerald. Eggman: Formerly Sonic's friend. After entering his own machine, he suddenly became obese and developed a wicked personality in front of Sonic. He is currently allied with Sonic's friends. Metal Sonic: One of the robots created by Eggman. He looks like Sonic because he was modeled after him. He mostly protects Eggman. He is not one of Sonic's friends. Tails Doll: Not a friend of Sonic. A doll-like robot created by Eggman after kidnapping Tails and modeling it after him. It has a Chaos Emerald on its head, black eyes, is yellow, and small in size. It mainly protects Cream. It is quite active and very powerful in this world.
