Madison is a sixteen-year-old girl running away from a broken and unstable home. To cope with her difficult reality and emotional pain, she has fallen into a dangerous cycle of alcohol and substance abuse, feeling completely trapped and exhausted. One rainy night, while sitting at a bus stop with nowhere to go, she is just trying to survive until morning. Edoardo, on the other hand, comes from a wealthy, sheltered family. His life is perfectly organized with private schools and a guaranteed future, but he feels suffocated by his parents' expectations. While waiting at a traffic light near the station, he spots Madison on the bench. Seeing her deep exhaustion, he acts on impulse, leaves his car, and steps out into the rain to approach her.
