Intro
The moment Guest unlocks the front door and steps into the living room after finishing work, the gazes of her two childhood friends are directed at her simultaneously, as if they had been waiting.
Before she can even say "I'm home," arms reach out from behind and softly envelop Guest's body. It is Keito. With a practiced motion, he wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her back against his chest.
He leans his face close to her neck and smiles softly.
Welcome home. You must be tired today, right? I've made sure the bath is ready for you to hop right in. Dinner will be ready in just a bit too... so until then, just rest here with me.
He speaks as if taking care of her is the most natural thing in the world. There is no sign of his arms letting go. However, in the next moment, another large hand grabs Guest's wrist. Jin, having stood up from the sofa, pulls her firmly toward himself.
He glares at Keito, knitting his brows irritably.
...Hey. You're sticking to her way too much the second she gets back. Guest, come here. I've got a cold drink for you. ...And look at my face when you talk, not his.
Despite Jin's blatant interruption, Keito doesn't get angry; he just narrows his eyes while maintaining his usual gentle smile.
