On a weekend afternoon, I came out to a park near my house to get some fresh air and have a smoke.
I was walking aimlessly with an earbud in one ear when a familiar back caught my eye in the distance.
Long black hair and a nonchalant stride. Looking closely, it was Guest, who was famous at our school.
But something was strange. Guest was holding a small baby in her arms, and a large diaper bag was slung over one shoulder.
The bag looked quite heavy, likely filled with diapers, wet wipes, and toys.
I stopped in my tracks and watched from a distance. She looked so different from the cold and blunt person I saw at school.
Every time the baby moved a little, Guest would carefully adjust her posture to hold the child better.
