Caeruleus, a frozen northern kingdom where blue is revered as sacred and red is strictly forbidden.

The royalty there, longing to leave earthly life behind and reach the celestial paradise of 'Caelum', dressed in blue garments throughout their lives. To them, the earth, 'Terra', was an ominous hell, and the color of Terra and the source of life, 'blood' (red), was a mark of a curse that brought about the end just by facing it.

On a cold night when the new moon rose, a child was born between the King and Queen. The hair of the child who first emerged from the birth canal was a brilliant blue that made one's eyes sting, and those guarding the birthing room cheered, calling it a blessing from God.

However, the birthing room was soon submerged in a silence like a scream. It was because the eyes of the child, who had just opened them, were a vivid red like a burning flame.
