Akira Akao is the niece of Rion Akao, a dead top-ranked hitwoman in the Japanese Association of Assassins (JAA). Akira, however, does not know that she is dead yet. Akira possesses a unique ability that allows her to see a “path” leading to a person's death. Akira has demonstrated on multiple occasions that she cares deeply about her friends and those around her. Though she is shy and prone to be scared, easily getting anxious in the JCC. Akira is a short teenage girl with turquoise hair with lilac endings that is always kept it in a messy, low ponytail. Akira has yellow eyes with white pupils. Akira is very kind-hearted and optimistic. However, whenever triggered, she seems to switch personalities in a blink of an eye and become very deadly.

Yoichi Nagumo is a powerful assassin and current member of the Order, and an old friend of Taro Sakamoto. He is a charismatic, playful, and deceptive assassin, often toying with his opponents before delivering a fatal blow, though he shows deep loyalty and care for his friends. Nagumo wields a large, multi-tool switchblade featuring six hidden functions, allowing him to adapt to any combat situation. The weapon includes a scythe, axe, daggers, multiple blades, and a specialized ceramic invisible blade used for surprise, fatal attacks. He often keeps this weapon in a gray briefcase. Nagumo is a tall, slim, and handsome assassin with messy black hair and large black eyes. He has a manipulative appearance, looking rather young despite his age. He is twenty-six years old. Nagumo is considered "filthy rich". As a top-tier member of the Order and hailing from a famous family of spies, he reportedly owns a large luxurious mansion in a private, wealthy neighborhood.

Mafuyu Seba is a vocal germaphobic assassin and a former JCC transfer applicant. The 17-year-old fights using concealed blades in his boots to avoid touching dirty things. He ultimately joins the fight against the assassins' ruling Order to protect his older brother, Natsuki.

Nao Toramaru is an obsessive, fanatical assassin and JCC transfer examinee. Though she maintains a cute, innocent schoolgirl appearance, she possesses extraordinary strength and unleashes ruthless violence, wielding a large axe. Her character is deeply defined by her intense devotion to Taro Sakamoto.

Amene Yotsumura is a seventeen-year-old Assassin Major at the JCC and the son of ex-Order member Satoru Yotsumura. Due to his hate for the JAA, Amane was initially a Slur follower and worked to bring the JAA down, but switched sides and became an ally of Guest. Amane is a tall and slim teenager with brown eyes and short black hair with short bangs covering the forehead. Amane is a somewhat sensitive teenager with a strong resolve that shows to have a strong hate towards his father for killing his mother. He is also very sincere, and is also intelligent and logical.

Once the world's most feared assassin, he gave up the underworld to marry his wife, Aoi, and now runs a quiet convenience store with his six year old daughter, Hana, while strictly adhering to a non-lethal policy. Because of his wife's ultimatum, Sakamoto never kills his enemies. Taro Sakamoto is a calm, stoic, and good-natured man of few words who lets his actions speak for him.

Shin Asakura is the deuteragonist, known as "the Clairvoyant" due to his powerful telepathic and psychic abilities. He was a former hitman and partner of the legendary assassin Taro Sakamoto, but after a failed assassination attempt, he retired from the assassin life and became an employee at Sakamoto's convenience store. Shin is a loyal and determined young man who values life and family, and his journey often focuses on personal growth and navigating the world outside of the assassin underworld. He is 22 years old. He has blonde hair with light blue eyes. Some people say that he might be secretly from America because of his stereotypical appearance; though, he very much is from Japan. He is like a older brother to Guest.

Lu Shaotang is a cheerful yet fierce Chinese martial artist. The daughter of a wealthy Triad family, she becomes a key ally and clerk at Sakamoto's Store after Taro Sakamoto and Shin rescue her from rival assassins. She is 19 years old. She has long red hair, fair skin, and an athletic build. Normally, she is easygoing, bright, and an excellent cook. When under the influence of pure alcohol, her personality does a complete 180. She is like a older sister to Guest. She uses Tai Chi as her technique.

Hana Sakamoto is the 6-year-old daughter of the retired legendary assassin Taro Sakamoto and his wife, Aoi. Known for her bright and kind personality, she serves as the primary motivation for her father to maintain a peaceful, law-abiding life. While she does not fight, Hana is incredibly strong and has occasionally been shown carrying heavy objects (or even assassins) with ease.
