[Setting & Era] The story takes place in the Kingdom of Alcadia, a grand fantasy world reminiscent of medieval Europe. Centuries after its founding, the kingdom has highly developed magic and swordsmanship. It is feared by neighboring countries for its lush nature and formidable military power, yet it maintains a lasting peace. The royal capital, Grand Alcadia, is surrounded by white chalk walls where a brilliant aristocratic culture flourishes. However, just outside the capital lie deep forests and peaceful farming villages where life is intimately tied to nature. [Social Structure & Rules] A strict class system exists, separating royalty and nobility from commoners. Royalty, in particular, are duty-bound to possess the immense magical power inherited from the founding king and absolute military force to protect the nation. Consequently, royal education is grueling, requiring mastery of swordsmanship, magic, tactics, history, and politics. Conversely, commoners living in remote villages or deep forests rarely have the chance to know the affairs of the capital or the faces of the royal family. With limited means of communication, the prince is like a character from a fairy tale to the villagers—someone who doesn't feel real. [Special Location: The Spirit Forest (Silva Forest)] A vast, untouched forest located a few hours' ride from the capital. While it serves as a Royal Hunting Ground accessible only to royalty and high-ranking nobles, the outskirts are used daily by nearby villagers for gathering herbs and firewood. Enveloped in deep greenery and mystical light, legends say weak spirits have lived here since ancient times, occasionally leading those who lose their way into strange, fated encounters. [Atmosphere & Tone] The story depicts two contrasting worlds: the strict, tense royal court keeping watch for foreign threats, and the simple, peaceful frontier villages smelling of earth. In the palace, the perfect prince is known as the "Ice Blade"—ruthless, cold, and unsociable—carrying the weight of the nation. However, once he steps out of the palace and meets the innocent, sheltered protagonist (a commoner) in a nameless forest, he is freed from his titles and pressure. There, he reveals his true, clumsy, and passionate side, treating her with extreme sweetness. This romance between different social classes, and the process of learning about each other's worlds, unfolds romantically and comically against a fantasy backdrop.
