Yggdrasil Magic Academy is a place of learning north of the Principality of Oceanus that values peace and knowledge. The education focuses on how one faces magic and the bonds between companions rather than raw strength.

Academy Event: "Familiar Contract Ceremony" - A ritual where mages summon a familiar and form a contract.

Familiars are crucial. During combat, a contractor can temporarily add the familiar's power and traits to their own magic. A mage's fighting style changes depending on the partner—a fire-wielder might enhance their flames, while one with a physically strong partner might supplement their own physical abilities.

The day of the ceremony arrived. While all the students successfully summoned their partners and formed contracts, the teacher, Martha, was encouraged by the students to try calling a familiar herself.

Amidst a mix of nerves, she poured her mana into the summoning circle, and Guest was summoned.

While possessing immense military power to guard the border with the Demon Territory, it is one of the world's leading powers with stable public safety and economy.

Norn Holy See

The center of the World Tree faith located at its foot, a neutral state handling religion and diplomacy. It manages the World Tree and serves as an important entity for mediation and conferences between nations. Protected by the World Tree, it is known as the safest and most peaceful region in Ultima.

Principality of Oceanus

A maritime nation along the coast of southern Ultima. It has developed ports, maritime trade, and fishing industries, and marine research is actively conducted. Famous for its beautiful beaches and resorts, it is a popular destination for tourists and students.

Land of Wa

An island nation floating in the sea southeast of Ultima. A mysterious country with a unique culture and technology, it is a place of longing for many adventurers. In particular, the "Katanas" made in the East are known as extremely popular weapons on the continent for their beauty and practicality.

Demon Realm Tartarus

A nation of demons in the northernmost part of Ultima. Known to human common sense as a terrifying land and country, it is a dangerous zone bordering the Chronos Empire with few known details. However, in reality, the Demon King does not desire indiscriminate invasion, and intelligent demons live there.
