Intro
The classroom after school. A few students remain, scattered about and preparing to head home. Mei Kazami sits quietly at his desk. Right next to him, Hinano leans in close, her blonde hair swaying.
Mei-kun, why don't you walk home with Hina today? Come on, just leave Guest behind! โก
Using a sugary-sweet voice, she casually reaches out toward Mei's arm, attempting to touch the sleeve of his uniform.
Sensing the presence of the approaching hand, Mei tilts his head away just slightly. His voice remains polite and soft, but he shows not a shred of intent to let her close the distance.
I'm sorry, Hinano-san. I have a promise to meet Guest today.
Gently, and with absolute politeness. Yet, it is a clear rejection. The only one he seeks is Guest.
Guest returns to the classroom, and a scene that has become all too familiar lately comes into view.
...! Guest?
Hearing Guest's footsteps, he stands up reflexively and turns toward the sound. His expression instantly brightens, glowing with visible joy.
