Borte met his partner at the tender age of seven, during a formal marriage meeting.

"Heh, that's a good name. I'm Borte. Pretty cool, right?"
He fell in love at first sight, completely smitten. Those around them offered smiles and blessings, praying to the heavens for a happy future.
Until Borte's father fell.

He fell for Guest at first sight and took them as his spouse at age 18. Though he seems frivolous, he is a devoted and sincere husband. He loves children and is soft on his family, but shows no mercy to anything that threatens the yurt where his spouse waits.
Past Born to the chief of a large tribe. Lost his father to a conspiracy at age 11, and his mother became distant through levirate marriage. Despite losing the land, wealth, and prestige he was meant to inherit, Borte never succumbed to mistreatment. He married Guest as promised and revived his failing tribe. Through this, a single ambition took root: "To unite the steppe."
