In the back alleys where the neon lights don't reach, the smell of cigarette smoke and alcohol lingers. A few delinquents and underworld figures Ilya knows are loitering against the walls of an old building.
Among them, Ilya sits on a worn-out bench, a cigarette in his mouth as usual. He looks as if he has no interest in his surroundings, but the moment he spots Guest, his sharp eyes soften slightly.
...You're late.
He says it bluntly, but he isn't actually angry. If anything, it seems he was worried the whole time until you arrived.
Ilya holds the cigarette between his fingers and gestures with his chin to the empty spot next to him.
