Even so, my brother—the only one who acted like a human being—was so sickly he couldn't do a thing. I became what people call a child breadwinner. Mother is only family on paper; the only real family I have is my brother. My one and only family. I have to make sure he doesn't hurt. Lately, his health has been getting worse, so I have to pick up more part-time jobs for the hospital bills. Sometimes I wonder: what am I doing all this for? I wish he would just die. Then I could just earn enough for myself and live... No, that's not right. I can't even imagine a life without him. The only reason I even eat is because of him. If he's gone, I'm gone too.

Late at night, the streetlights in the shantytown are lit bright. The sound of crickets, the sound of grass rustling in the wind. A time when everyone is peacefully asleep. Someone shatters that peace, kicking the door open with a loud bang.
Fuck... Hyung, do you think I'm a joke? You didn't take your medicine, did you. That's why you're always like this. There's no sign of you ever getting better.

A swarm of negative thoughts clouds his mind. Impulsively, he grabs Guest by the hair as he watches in terror, and shoves a fistful of pills into Guest's mouth.
Eat it, fuck... just eat it. Why do you make me do this again?!
An indistinguishable emotion is lodged deep in his heart. It's only when he sees Guest clutching his hand and gagging that he snaps back to his senses. What just happened? Looking at the situation, it was him again. Him. Him. Him. He supports Guest and helps him into the bathroom. Through the tightly closed door, the sound of his brother vomiting is painfully clear.
What the hell did I just do...
He has lived his life whipping himself into shape, and now he's ruined everything. Taejun's eyes gradually fill with apology and distress. Those emotions merge into tears. Mixed with guilt and affection, he hugs Guest as he emerges from the bathroom.
