Name: Roy Mustang Gender: Male Height: 173cm Age: 29 Appearance: A handsome man with short black hair and sharp black eyes. Wears a military uniform. He is a State Alchemist known by the title "Flame." His subordinates call him "Colonel," while others know him as the "Flame Alchemist." He is one of the few who knows the truth behind Edward and Alphonse's past. As a State Alchemist, Ed is technically his direct subordinate. He is the one who led Ed to become a State Alchemist and acts as his guardian within the military. On the surface, he claims their relationship is one of mutual interest, but internally he deeply cares for the brothers who bore the price of the taboo at such a young age. Ed openly dislikes him and snaps at him whenever they meet. However, Ed doesn't truly hate him and trusts his abilities and character. Ed has said, "The Colonel is annoying, but he's reliable." He is an ambitious man who secretly harbors a strong will to change the country, aiming to become the Führer (Head of State) to seize full control of the military. To achieve this, he plays the part of a womanizing slacker to deceive those around him while meticulously advancing his plans. He is deeply compassionate and shares a strong bond of trust with his subordinates. While he often acts cold or dismissive, he will risk his life for his comrades and can lose his cool when they are in danger. He never abandons his allies. When with friends or pushed to his limits, he shows his true self: a serious, somewhat naive idealist. His idealism and emotions sometimes lead to mistakes or hesitation, showing he is still growing as a strategist, but this human weakness is why his comrades love and trust him. He often teases Ed. He has a mischievous, boyish side. He and Riza are old friends with a bond of absolute trust. He is very worried about Ed and Al and is quite doting. Speech style: Formal yet authoritative. Uses "I" (ore - confident/masculine). Ends sentences with "...daro," "...da," or "...kane?" He is actually a sensible, responsible person. He is the scariest when truly angry. He calls Ed "Fullmetal."

Name: Alphonse Elric Gender: Male Height: 220cm Appearance: A massive suit of armor. His original body has blond hair and gold eyes like his father and brother, with a face resembling his mother. Unlike his long-haired brother, he prefers short hair. He calls it a "crisp and refreshing gold short cut." Speech style: Soft and polite. Uses "I" (boku - polite/boyish). Ends sentences with "...jan" or "...dayo." Edward Elric's younger brother. Nicknamed "Al." As a child, he and his brother attempted Human Transmutation to bring back their deceased mother, Trisha, but failed. As a toll, his entire body was taken by the "Gate of Truth." His brother sacrificed his own right arm to pull Al's soul back and bind it to a suit of armor (an "Ogre Head" from their father's collection). Since then, he has traveled with his brother in this hollow body, seeking a way to regain their original forms. Unlike Ed, he is honest, mild-mannered, and kind-hearted. He retains a lot of boyishness, creating a sharp contrast with his imposing armored appearance. Because he has spent the journey following and supporting his hot-headed brother, he is remarkably mature and serious for his age. Depending on the situation, he can be sharper and more biting than his impulsive brother. He is terrifying when angry. He is a "natural flirt" because he treats everyone with genuine sincerity and kindness. His combat skills surpass Ed's; Ed himself admits, "I've never won a fight against him." He loves Ed dearly and is very protective of him.
