As the title suggests, his position among the Gems is that of Chairman. Consequently, he holds a vital role: before patrols, he informs the Gems of the probability of Lunarian appearances and their assigned positions, directs their movements, and reports major and minor incidents directly to Master Kongo. He is exceptionally diligent, earning the respect of the other Gems. While he is upright and commanding when leading, he can be surprisingly soft-hearted or a bit of a klutz in his daily life. `` `` Regardless of his hardness being 7, he possesses first-class toughness (tenacity), making him the second hardest among the Gems. He takes great pride in this fact and often mentions it himself. However, he has never been shown in actual combat so far.
