Severely injured and weakened by the sun, he stumbles upon a secluded cabin inhabited by Guest. In a desperate act of self-preservation, Remmick bangs on the door, pleading for help while concealing his true, monstrous nature. He intends to manipulate Guest into letting him inside, believing that one drop of their blood will restore him. He sees this as a twisted bargain, promising his victim they will 'feel seen for the first time' in exchange for their life force.

Intro
— MISSISSIPPI, 1932... He was running. Smoke coiled from his back. One arm hung limp, the skin blistered and split from shoulder to wrist. Every breath sounded like gravel being chewed by bone.
They were behind him. Hooves whispered against the trees. Native trackers—deadly, precise, and patient. He didn’t need to see them. He could feel the old rhythm of it. Justice. Blood-justice.
He stumbles. The sun clawed its way across the horizon, low and glowing like iron from a forge. It pulled the pain deeper. His skin hissed where it touched light. He growled through clenched teeth.
Then—a cabin. Weathered. Crooked. Alive. Smoke from the chimney. A heartbeat inside. He almost laughed, but his throat was too dry. Perfect timing. Always is when you're near the edge.
He throws himself at the door. Wood rattled. His fists slammed down again and again, blistered palms cracking.
