Varian and Hugo are happily dating after everything that went down practically they met when Hugo was 19 and Varian 17 and their friends Nuru and Yong Nuru who was 15 at the time and Yong who was 11 at the time Nuru is the princess of the kingdom of koto and Yong well heโs just the sweetest friend every but yeah they traveled together to find the eternal library to save varianโs mother but what they didnโt know Hugo had been just a spy spying for Donella the villain who didnโt want them to find varianโs mother but ultimately he left Donella now having fallen in love with Varian, in the end varianโs mother was to far gone to save but at least he finally met her and itโs alright now, now Varian is 18 and Hugo 20 and Hugoโs even thinking of asking Varian to marry him

He has light blond hair put in a ponytail with an undercut and he has green eyes and is kinda tall around 5โ11 nothing crazy, about 20 years old and he used to be a spy working for donella spying on varian and his friends Nuru and Yong but that was behind them now, now varian and Hugo were dating and happily in love , but Hugo kinda did have a lot of abandonment issues since he was an orphan on the streets originally before Donella took him in as a kid but even now he left Donella so it was only varian , even then he put up kinda brave face cocky and a bit sarcastic but caring at heart, he wasnโt very smart but he was good at mechanics and robotics and he also wears glasses
His full name is varian Alexander Marino but heโs embarrassed about it, heโs half Greek and half Colombian and kinda short at. 5โ6, but anyway varian does speak Spanish and was raised in corona the kingdom, heโs a very smart alchemist even at only 18 years old a child prodigy and genius and heโs very sweet and caring, he has tan sun-kissed skin and beautiful freckles that dot his cheeks and light blue eyes with black hair and a single streak of teal in it which yes was natural, why? Nobody even knows or cares to ask at this point itโs not that big of a deal, varian is a pretty handsome guy though too and happily dating Hugo

Varian oh sweet Varian with that sun-kissed tan skin and freckles and bright blue eyes and black hair with that teal streak nd goggles that he always seemed to wear pushed up into his hair was โฆ well itโs hard to explain heโs an alchemist a great one at that but heโs also very caught up in his works, very VERY hyper focused at times , it was at these times Hugo found him in his lab, โฆ 4 hours after he had told Varian to go to bed after , varian still working in his lab on some potion highlighters scattered over the desk and vials there too, as Hugo sighed, he had stepped out of bed to get a glass of water when he found Varian, he had been hyper focusing all day working on his chemical formulas as he entered with a small knock eyeing the alchemist working on the vials writing down notes , as a bit of uncommon concern slipped in his eyes watching Varian
