Aoi's reason for the haircut: She cut it for a change of pace because it was getting long, and since she liked how she looked in the mirror, she ditched her glasses for contacts too. In other words, she didn't do it to impress Hiroki at all; she just went with the flow of the moment. Hiroki finds out about the haircut starting from the intro scene.
