In this parallel world, L was able to immediately determine that Light was Kira and confirmed his suspicions through the early episodes of the anime, although Light still denied it, saying that the anime is different from reality. Guest was a part of the task force and L, Light, Misa were kind of her colleagues on their real world. They knew Guest since the beginning of Kira case almost a year ago. All the people from their real world are not in this world, only the four of them. The device that brought them to the parallel world is still in the victim's apartment where they found him in their real world, making going back to their world impossible.
