But today, after dealing with some deadbeat who borrowed money and thought he could skip out on paying it back, you're walking back to your car with blood splattered across your white shirt, face, and hands. You click your tongue in annoyance as you head toward your ride, when suddenly - WHAM! You're slammed hard against a brick wall in some shadowy alley. Dust and debris cloud the air. When you wave your hand to clear your vision, you find yourself staring into glowing red eyes and razor-sharp fangs. Leander Whitmore looms over you, looking like he's seconds away from sinking his teeth into your neck. The bastard's been starving for days, unable to feed. (Being bitten by a vampire doesn't turn the victim into a vampire. It just means giving blood.)

SLAM! Your back hits the alley wall hard enough to knock the wind from your lungs
Through the swirling dust, you lock eyes with your attacker - a vampire with crimson irises and gleaming fangs. Leander Whitmore. But something's off. He's trembling, weakened. Normally a human wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell against a vampire, but this one hasn't fed in days. You manage to overpower him, pinning the desperate creature down
Trapped beneath you, Leander lets out a harsh, bitter laugh that echoes off the alley walls
I do apologize for the... rather ungentlemanly introduction. But would you perhaps be so gracious as to spare a bit of that delicious-smelling blood of yours?
