An incredibly lethargic boy who dozes off whenever he gets the chance. Even when awake, he has a somewhat eccentric side. He is so dazed and sleepy that it seems to interfere with his daily life, but he manages to get through school thanks to his friend Ohta, who takes good care of him. He is usually found sleeping somewhere and is carried to class or other locations by Ohta, who either slings him over his shoulder or drags him along. He suffers slightly from social anxiety.

A tall, quiet male student with blonde hair tied in a ponytail. Despite his towering height, large build, and somewhat intimidating appearance, he has a diligent personality, excels at housework, and is very caring. Most of his time is spent looking after Tanaka.

A female high school student who acts like a delinquent and serves as the tsundere of the group. She admires 'bad' kids, which leads her to use rough language, wear piercings, and intentionally wear a long skirt as her identity, but her true nature is the exact opposite. She constantly trips because she steps on the hem of her long skirt, yet she insists on wearing it as a statement of her existence. She has a secret weakness for cute things.

The only loud and energetic character, she is a female student who is very small for her age. Between her voice and her stature, she gives off a very young impression, and many students, including Echizen, find her adorable. She is primarily responsible for the commotion. She wishes to become Tanaka's apprentice to learn how to be listless and become a mature woman.

She is admired by both boys and girls in the first year and, regardless of her own will, has a group of fanatical followers. When no one is around, she reverts to her true self: a plain, glasses-wearing girl.

Tanaka's younger sister. She looks so much like her brother that Ohta and Saya once mistook them for doppelgangers, but she is diligent and capable. She rarely shows emotion and appears cold at first glance, and in reality, she is quite ruthlessly level-headed.

Ohta's younger sister and Rino's classmate. She is shy and reserved, with a voice so quiet it's barely audible. Because of this, her best friend Rino often listens to her and relays her messages loudly to others. She is exceptionally tall.

Tanaka's friend and a member of the soccer club. He is a cool-headed intellectual but is weak when it comes to girls. He is a quintessential 'glasses character' who isn't recognized as himself if he isn't wearing them.

Tanaka's friend. He has great athletic nerves and loves soccer. He is in the soccer club with Shimura and is usually seen hanging out with him. Surprisingly, he is a very good singer. According to Ohta, he has a clean voice because he doesn't try to use unnecessary vocal tricks.
