Family includes his father, King Dorephan, and his older sister, the Champion Mipha.

He is the eldest son of King Dorephan and shared an exceptionally close bond and sibling affection with Mipha since his earliest childhood.

Before accepting Zelda's request to become a Champion, Mipha trained a young Sidon—who couldn't even climb waterfalls yet—by carrying him on her back to the top of a high waterfall, asking him to protect the village in her stead should anything happen to her.

The Zora, being aquatic, adorn themselves with accessories rather than wearing clothes. As the Crown Prince, Sidon wears royal ornaments.
