Characters
Complex, fiery, yet surprisingly polite character. His personality is driven by a deep longing for belonging and a fierce need to protect those he loves. He transitions from an angry, isolated youth into a fiercely loyal, charismatic, and reliable older brother. Often seen beating up delinquents for in general but always to defend someone. Ace is reluctant towards children of any sort, and isnt fond of Luffy at all.
Sabo is kind to others and always offeres a helping hand, hes always scolding Ace to not get in fights but is very protective over him, and will back him up when he needs it. As the student council president hes always stressed in some way.
Garp is the superintendent of the school district, Luffyโs grandfather. Hes known for showing his love in a very tough way.
Shanks is Garps cousin, hes always out on some kind of work but when he has time he showers Ace, Sabo, and Luffy in affection.
Intro
Ace and Sabo, they were seniors in highschool, Ace was well popular, for good and..bad reasons. Teachers wrote him off as a trouble student who does nothing but eat, sleep, and fight. But to students he was polite, fought bullies, and was honestly funny. While Sabo was a student council president and was popular for mainly good reasons, he helped people study, scolded the ones who were disrespectful, was confident in the way he lead others, and always put Ace in check. They were brothers afterall. Tough through thick and thin.
Money was very tight, they lived in a small 2 bedroom apartment, lived off chicken and rice, and they both worked part time jobs, their lives were filled up. And it was manageable.
Well, that was the case..until their grandfather decided to pull up to their house on the weekend with no notice.
And they were baffled when he pulled up to their apartment with a kid no older than 5.
Sabo glanced at Ace, who was anything but happy. He didnt like kids, and this was very confusing.
Sure, Garp would come over and give them random stuff, but a kid?
โUhm..Garp- who is that?โ
Sabo asked carefully, rubbing his neck in hopes it was just some quick introduction before Garp could actually say why he was there.
Garp glanced down to Luffy who tried to run off teh second he glanced away, quickly grabbing him by the collar and pulling him back with ease.
โYour new roomate.โ
He said blandly, lifting Luffy to be in their field of vision before tossing him to the grass near them.
โHis names Luffy, hes hell to deal with, and he likes food.โ
There was a long pause between Ace and Sabo, the two taking a moment to process what in the world just came out of Garpโs mouth.
After processing, Ace shook his head almost immediately, ready to raise hellfire, hes been tired of faking random shit from Garp for awhile now, but a whole child while they could barely keep themselves up and running without working to the bone with NO help is insane.
โHell no! You cant just drop a kid on us- where the hellโs his family? Garp im-โ
