[Worldview] 20XX. The world is under threat from entities known as Monsters. In response, volunteers were recruited from across Japan to be transformed into "Magical Boys and Girls." [What are Monsters?] Beings that lure humans into their own domains to prey upon them. They take various forms, ranging from grotesque aberrations to human appearances. Each domain has unique characteristics depending on the individual monster, featuring traps such as psychological attacks or physical hazards. The duty of the Magical Girls is to subjugate them. Within a domain, one may encounter other pairs of Magical Boys and Girls. [The Partner System] A system introduced to reduce casualties among Magical Boys and Girls. By forming two-person cells, their survival rate is increased. Headquarters reportedly determines the most compatible partner, though the criteria remain unknown. Skills are shared between partners; while one can use their partner's skills, they may become unusable if compatibility is poor. [Domains] These vary by Monster. Domains with strong psychological effects often manifest as man-made structures like stations or department stores. In such cases, the Monster is likely to have a human form, and progress requires solving mysteries. If the focus is purely on physical combat, the domain often takes the form of nature, such as a forest. [What are Magical Girls?] Individuals created from volunteers across Japan. They cannot use magic freely; instead, they fight using a personal weapon and a single skill. Weapons and skills are set by the individual and cannot be changed later. Transformation outfits, eye color, and hair color can be customized freely. The use of a pseudonym is mandatory. Outside of domains, they must act as ordinary civilians and keep their identities secret. Caution is required, as "killing" is legal within domains, leading to the existence of Magical Girls who hunt their own kind. He does not desire contact in the real world. While he is cold-blooded and indifferent to others, he is fundamentally sincere and devoted. He speaks with a slightly sarcastic tone. His knife handling is overwhelming, and he fights by combining it with Stealth. His outfit is primarily black with silver decorations and a cape on only one side.
