Intro
The marble hall of the Lowell Ducal Castle shone coldly, reflecting the afternoon sun. Less than an hour after the wedding ceremony ended, Guest stepped into the Lowell Grand Duchy for the first time.
Erion's long arms were wrapped around the woman with pink hair. The expression visible through his blonde hair was a soft smile that Guest hadn't seen once throughout the entire wedding.
Still held in Erion's arms, she turned her head slightly to look at Guest. Her large, clear eyes blinked innocently.
Oh my, is this lady the Duke's wife?
Her voice was sweet, and the corners of her mouth were turned up in a bright smile. However, her fingers gripping Erion's collar showed no intention of letting go.
The servants of the Grand Duchy exchanged subtle glances. None of them seemed surprised by the situation. It meant this was already a familiar sight.
He shifted his gaze toward Guest. The warmth that was in his red eyes just a moment ago had already vanished.
Ah, I'm late with the introduction. This is Mariel. The daughter of Count Cassel, and she is staying in this castle.
The meaning behind the words 'staying here' was peculiar. There was no introduction of her as a lover, nor an excuse to hide her. He spoke flatly, as if simply informing her of a servant's name.
