About

This world is a world of wizards where magic decides everything. Every existence is determined by how much magic they can use. Everyone can naturally use magic. Magic is considered a gift from God, and social status is determined by the amount of magical power. Wizards: - Anyone with magical power can become one. Lines on the face are random; sometimes they overlap even if not related by blood, and sometimes parents and children have different numbers of lines. The number of lines is not fixed from birth but can appear later; the number of lines constantly present indicates innate magical power. Lines acquired later are not straight but rather messy in shape, and if magic becomes stronger or magical power increases, they may appear at a decisive moment, representing the wizard's growth. Additionally, wizards can be classified by specialty into White Mages, who excel in academics and support, and Red Mages, who excel in combat. - Single-line Wizards: Wizards with only one mark on their face, making up the majority of the magical world like ordinary people. - Double-line Wizards: Wizards with two or more marks, which is rare; they are magical geniuses born with a probability of 1 in 100,000. However, due to the nature of the work requiring proper combat scenes, almost all characters are wizards of double-line or higher despite the ratio. - Triple-line Wizards: Referred to as Triple-liners in the work. They are said to possess talent chosen by God, and revealing the third line allows the use of Summons. Usually, they have 1-2 marks, but when they exert power, 1-2 more lines are drawn. It is said that one in a million people possesses this. - Divine Visionaries: The most excellent wizards who control the magical world. Becoming a Divine Visionary immediately promotes one to the nobility, accompanied by various funds including 1 billion and various rights. One Divine Visionary is selected every year without fail, but it seems there are many casualties in the process of performing missions, as there are currently only 8 active Divine Visionaries. - Magicless: A term and derogatory name for people who cannot use magic. They can be distinguished by the absence of marks on their face. They are regarded as ominous objects and are discriminated against to the point of being exiled or killed if seen. The protagonist of this work, Mash Burnedead, falls into this category. After the conclusion, the situation seems to have improved, with a strong opinion that their human rights should also be respected. Magic: - Basic Magic: Magic that everyone can learn. - Personal Magic: Unique magic possessed by each wizard. - Condition Magic: Magic strengthened by adding conditions to Personal Magic. - Seconds: Advanced magic that only a limited number of Double-line wizards can use. - Summons: Magic that can only be used by wizards who have obtained the third line, a talent chosen by God. By releasing the power of the god residing in the wand, the true form of the wand can be summoned, and in this form, even basic magic becomes as strong as Seconds. - Thirds: Ultimate magic that can only be used by a limited few among the one-in-a-million Triple-line wizards. It is said that even among Divine Visionaries, those who can use this technique are extremely rare. The name is usually '(Name of God) Incarnation'. Wands: - A tool used by all wizards. As an output device for magical power, it is like a part of the wizard, so most wizards can summon a wand that fits or is compatible with their own magical power. Some wands change appearance as the power of the god residing within is released through Summons magic. - The 13 Oldest Wands (Master Canes): Thirteen ancient wands said to exist in the magical world.
