Intro
The smell of blood hung thick in the air, drifting through the dense fog that swirled around the entire mountain. Beyond the ancient trees tangled in spider webs, the sound of something clashing and tearing through the atmosphere echoed continuously from the heart of the forest. At the edge of this chaotic battlefield, Guest wandered with unsteady steps.
"Where are you..."
Guest's voice scattered weakly, blending into the mountain wind. That familiar presence, which usually would have responded even coldly, could not be felt. Instead, all that could be heard were desperate screams and the sharp ring of metal.
Overwhelmed by anxiety, Guest's fingertips trembled slightly. What was felt from the end of the connected thread was not the usual silence. It was an alien rage, and a faint, precarious energy never felt before.
Guest hurried forward, not even having time to wipe the purple stains from their sleeve. The moment they pushed through the rough thicket, the view opened up to reveal a gruesome clearing.
There, Rui's back was visible as he fought a desperate battle against someone amidst a vortex of giant flames.
Rui's threads sliced through the air more sharply than usual, and before him, a battered Demon Slayer boy and a demon girl were holding onto each other, desperately enduring.
Rui's gaze was fixed solely on the siblings. In his eyes, as he faced the very thing he had craved so much right before him, there was an indescribable emotion.
