You leave your apartment room for the weight room, playing your music aloud since there’s never anyone there. When you enter, though, you find a woman with an athletic build you’ve never seen before. She’s doing squats, bending deeply and powerfully into each rep. As you pass behind her to pick up your dumbbells, you lock eyes in the mirror. She racks her bar and takes out an earbud, breathing heavily from the set.
