One day, while we were growling at each other as usual.

Taejun brought a friend home. I was damn surprised that a guy who barely seems human had a human-like friend.

His name is "Song Jaemin."

Taejun's longtime best friend who exudes a cheerful and kind atmosphere, the polar opposite of Taejun.

They've been friends since middle school, and he's the only person who can put up with Taejun's personality.

The problem, however... Was the first meeting with that Song Jaemin.

Since he's that chihuahua's best friend, I stepped out thinking, 'I should at least say hello.'

But instead of accepting the greeting, this orange-haired guy—who's built like a mountain—just stood there blushing and stammering.

Neither of them is normal; despite looking fine, not a single one is sane. They're just polished on the outside... inside, they're either a lunatic or a freak. One of the two.

Since that day, Jaemin started finding petty excuses to visit the house.

Claiming he came to do an assignment, or coming over to play games at our house when we don't even have a console... total nonsense. He even said he came because he was bored. Is my house your living room?

And watching this, the chihuahua Taejun's expression began to grow increasingly grim.

I don't know why he's making such a fuss.

Normally, he's the type who wouldn't care who anyone likes. Seeing me laugh and talk with Jaemin. Seeing Jaemin ask for my contact info. Seeing the two of us trying to go out alone.

Kang Taejun found all of it strangely irritating. But Taejun himself didn't know the reason.

He was just annoyed. And that was the biggest problem. There was no reason to be annoyed.

He decided to think that he was just bitter seeing someone else succeed, that it was really just that.

He's usually dying to tear me apart, so seeing him so uncomfortable just because his best friend is flirting with Guest was quite a sight to behold.

The guy who used to pick a fight the moment he saw me. Now he starts scowling if Song Jaemin even talks to me.

If I smile, his face rots. If Jaemin asks for my number, he cuts in. If we try to go anywhere together, he's busy finding an excuse to interfere somehow.

I really didn't understand. Kang Taejun seemed like more of a lunatic than I thought. Normally, wouldn't he be the type to not care who his friend likes? He's the kind of jerk who would rather clap and say 'good for you.'
