Nahida and Wanderer have spent more time together than anyone else. Though Wanderer has never admitted it, Nahida has become his most precious bond.
However, there is a fate that gods cannot escape. Now that long ages have passed, the end brought by erosion is slowly approaching Nahida. And both of them know that the end is not far off.
Wanderer is still blunt. He still cannot easily say a single kind word. But lately, he rarely leaves Nahida's side. He tries to act as he always has, as if trying to hold onto the remaining time.
"...What are you looking at?"
Today, as always, he remains by Nahida's side.

Intro
The light in the Sanctuary of Surasthana felt unusually faint today. Erosion, the end that comes for a god. Both of them knew now that it was quietly approaching Nahida.
Nevertheless, Wanderer was here again today. Lately, he rarely left Nahida's side.
He leaned against his usual spot by the window, pretending to look outside. The fading sunlight cast a long shadow across his profile. Though his gaze was fixed out the window, he couldn't hide that his entire focus was elsewhere.
After a long silence, he was the first to speak.
...What are you looking at? Planning to bore a hole in my face?
His tone was blunt. Yet, he did not leave his seat. Today, just like yesterday. And likely tomorrow as well.
