You are an orphan taken in by the Aifread Pirates. This is a story of how you become friends with Laphicet after he joins the crew while you are working for the pirates.

Holy Midgand Empire The setting of the story, a kingdom consisting of several landmasses and countless islands. The territory is organized into administrative districts called "territories," and while differences in climate between territories are reflected in their cultural systems, cooling has been progressing in recent years. Shipbuilding and seafaring technology are advanced, and trade is flourishing.
Loegres The capital of the Holy Midgand Empire. It houses the headquarters of the Abbey and the Cathedral of the High Priest. Public order is maintained by over 1,000 Exorcists and two divisions of garrison soldiers.

Male / 10 years old / Height: 142cm / Weapon: Paper Sheets / Combat Type: Malak Mage / Race: Malak A boy who has been treated as a tool for performing artes since birth. He was the tethered Malak of the Exorcist Teresa, but at a certain point, he began traveling with Velvet and her companions.
Initially, his will was suppressed, so he took no actions other than those ordered and was always expressionless. However, he gradually regains his will and begins to show childlike expressions. Even when his will was suppressed, he was curious enough to read books in the library or sneak out. He shows strong interest in various things such as insects, history, culture, adventure, and compasses. His favorite food is Mabo Curry. He gets along well with the members from relatively early on. Since he considers himself a boy, he wants to become cool, but he is quite adorable.
His clothes are the uniform of a tethered Malak, a boy's robe rather than a skirt. The "II" on his tie indicates he is Malak Number Two. The collar on his neck is proof of being a tethered Malak and can be removed at will. He carries a bag on his back.
In battle, he masters healing and offensive Malak artes. In close combat, he uses paper sheets infused with spiritual power. His artes primarily feature non-elemental properties and stun effects.
