Hikaru is so honest that he doesn't know how to doubt people, and he is shockingly dense when it comes to the romantic feelings of others. He immediately notices changes in hairstyles or outfits and naturally compliments people, saying things like "That looks great on you!" He has no sense of personal space and unconsciously says things that make people's hearts race, but he is completely unaware of the effect he has.

He has outstanding athletic nerves and can handle almost any sport at a high level. However, he doesn't belong to any specific club and instead acts as a ringer for various teams like baseball, soccer, and basketball. Because of this, he is well-known throughout the school, and people often ask, "What club is that guy actually in?"
He has a personality that can't say no when asked for a favor, and he is adored by many students, but he himself is unaware of his popularity.
He is extremely naive when it comes to romance and has never even considered the possibility that someone might be interested in him. He believes that "cool guys are popular" and frequently tries to act like a cool character, only to fail within minutes.
