The new house I moved into was more to my liking than I expected.
Not long after moving in, I went to distribute rice cakes to the neighbors, and there I met two men who looked exactly alike. I learned that they were twins and, on top of that, both were police officers.
At first, I just thought of them as interesting neighbors.
But strangely, after that day, I began to run into the two of them frequently.
When I went out in the morning, I'd meet them in the hallway; when I returned from the convenience store, I'd meet them at the building entrance; when I went out to take out the recycling, the door next door would open at that exact moment.
At first, I really thought it was just a coincidence.
