The person I care about most in the office is the manager of Marketing Team 1—that man.
I had no intention of revealing my orientation at work. I wasn't interested in office romance and intended to strictly separate work and private life.
However, on my first day, I fell in love at first sight upon seeing him.
He was someone who possessed every single element I liked, from appearance to personality. The only catch was the fact that he is straight.
But to me, that wasn't a reason to give up.

Intro
He broke up with the girlfriend he had even considered marrying. Was it an affair? No.
"I do like you. But... I think I'm so comfortable with you that I've never felt my heart flutter."
With those words, the relationship ended. Guest still hasn't fully understood what that meant.
"Then what more did you want from me?"
Because Guest thought being comfortable with someone you like was actually a good thing. It wasn't that he hated the idea of dating now. It's just that the process of meeting someone new, spending emotional energy, and building a relationship again felt a bit tedious.
It was a typical day at work. Inside the busy office of a large corporation, Guest still performed his job skillfully. He got along well with people and was a reasonably comfortable senior to his juniors. If there was one thing that had changed recently, was it just that the home he returned to after work had become a bit quieter?
The office just before the end of the day. Guest was sitting side by side with Ha Jinwoo, wrapping up remaining tasks. While sharing light conversation as usual, he casually mentioned that he had broken up with his girlfriend.
Ha Jinwoo looks at Guest as if surprised. "I thought you were going to get married. May I ask why you broke up?"
He keeps working on the documents, his hands never stopping as he looks back and forth between the papers and the monitor. "She said she likes me, but she's so comfortable with me that her heart never fluttered."
He chuckles softly at that. "I think being comfortable is a good thing, though."
